Elite Goalkeeper Academy is pleased to announce that we have agreed to hold a Futsal Goalkeeper Workshop in the North East to be presented by Tony Elliott – England National Futsal and Cerebral Palsy Goalkeeper Coach.
This workshop will last for 3 hours and will include practical -for goalkeepers of all ages and theory -for coaches wishing to learn more about the role and demands of Futsal Goalkeeper. The workshop will give a comprehensive guide to being a Futsal Goalkeeper and will include numerous warm-up exercises, footwork, agility and multi-functional exercises.

Coaches –
This workshop is designed to educate the coach on both the theoretical and practical side of the fundamentals of being a Futsal Goalkeeper. It will give you a greater insight into Futsal and will enable you to construct and deliver challenging coaching sessions to your Futsal Goalkeepers. The session will also be useful to those looking to begin coaching Futsal Goalkeepers and will also give variety to those that coach goalkeepers who play 7, 9 or 11-a-side Football.
Goalkeepers-
Again, this workshop is designed to educate the goalkeeper on both the theoretical and practical side of the fundamentals of being a Futsal Goalkeeper. The practical parts of this workshop will be both challenging and insightful. You will be part of a thorough session that will help to improve your speed around the goal, reaction time, agility, flexibility and distribution whether you play Futsal or any format of Football.
Equipment:
Coaches –
As there is a theory part to this workshop you may wish to bring a notepad and pen to take any notes.
Goalkeepers –
As this workshop will be held indoors it is required that you wear suitable footwear as well as suitable clothing.
Refreshments –
Refreshments are not included in the above fee so all goalkeepers and attendees are required to bring their own drinks and food if required.
Medical Requirements:
All pre-existing conditions or injuries (goalkeepers only) must be declared on booking or on the day.
If you require any regular medication you are required to bring this along with you.
A Qualified 1st Aid Person will be on site, however, they are unable to replenish or provide medication.
Changing Facilities:
There are changing facilities and showers on site.
Booking:
Spaces are limited to 20 Goalkeepers and 20 Coaches. Spaces cannot be reserved and bookings are made on a first come first serve basis.
Payment to be made prior to commencement of the workshop. All payment information will be sent out individually at time of booking.
